We are looking for massage therapists for Gran Canaria full-time season 2026/2027

Do you want to work in the sun, meet people from all over Europe, and work with deep tissue massage at a pleasant pace? Then this might be the job for you!

For a more balanced gender distribution, we are now seeking female massage therapists for full-time work on Gran Canaria during the period June 15, 2026 – April 30, 2027 or October 15, 2026 – April 30, 2027. (You need to be on site about 9–10 days before start – we assist with work permits, etc.)

This is a job for you who want to develop, prioritize a higher quality of life, and want to live and work in the world's best year-round climate. However, it is not a job for you who cannot handle physically demanding work or who want to move to Gran Canaria in pursuit of a high salary.

About the job

• Full-time, approximately 5 days one week / 6 days the next
• Work primarily outdoors at the hotels' pool areas
• When a season is summarized, our massage therapists typically have 6–7 massage treatments each per day (30 minutes)
• You work independently and are usually responsible for 2–3 hotels
• Focus on deeper therapeutic massage
• Working hours usually daytime, e.g., 10 AM – 5 PM

The work is warm, physically demanding – and very fun! In our work, we meet customers who are on vacation and who are incredibly happy, satisfied, and grateful for their treatment with us.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained massage therapist and are accustomed to deeper treatments
• Have good physical condition as the work is physically demanding
• For a more balanced gender distribution, we view it as positive if you are a woman.
• Are self-sufficient, positive, service-oriented, have determination and a twinkle in your eye
• Are comfortable with sales and customer contact
• Swedish as a native language. You also speak good English (Spanish and/or German are advantageous). During June to October, most customers are British and Spanish while during November to April, most customers are from Norway and Sweden.
• Extra plus if you can also perform beauty treatments, manicure/pedicure

Salary & benefits

Approximately €1800 gross / approximately €1400 net (Canarian salary) for a full-time position. NOTE! A median salary on Gran Canaria is around €1400 gross and approximately €1000 net, which means we pay a good salary by Canarian standards BUT this is not a job for you who have high expenses back home in Sweden.

Accommodation

• Accommodation is arranged by yourself, but we are happy to help with tips and suggestions
• Rent of approximately €900–€1000/month is common for a small apartment as a private residence. If you want to live with a colleague of the same gender in a shared accommodation, the cost is approximately €700-€800/month (only applies during the winter season).
• Electricity, water, and wifi are often included
• Short bus ride or sometimes walking distance to work
