Östra Ögon is a small private eye clinic that has been operating since 2000. We provide eye care under contract with Region Uppsala. Our team consists of two ophthalmologists, one ophthalmic nurse, two medical secretaries, and one receptionist working at the clinic.

What do we do at our clinic?

We provide medical eye specialist care and also perform pressure-lowering laser treatments and treat after-cataracts. We also conduct diabetes photo screening.

The work is largely independent and primarily involves visual field examinations, diabetes photo screening with assessment, and telephone consultations. Occasionally, it also includes preparatory examinations before doctor visits.

We are looking for you who are an ophthalmic nurse, registered nurse, or registered optician with experience working in an eye clinic. We use Cosmic for medical record keeping.

We offer a full-time position, daytime Monday-Friday, starting in August 2026.
