Description
Strand Hotel in Arild is the small family-owned hotel with the great personal charm. We operate both a hotel (13 rooms) and a restaurant. The majority of our guests come to enjoy the old-world charm, our highly appreciated food, and the village's beautiful surroundings. With us, we cook food with great care and we cherish our craft, which consists of ingredients of the highest quality.
We open up until Easter and round off the season with goose dinner until the end of November.
We are looking for chefs primarily for the summer season (June-Aug). If you also want to work extra during weekends other parts of the year, that opportunity exists. You should have restaurant education and at least 1 year of experience in à la carte cooking.
We expect you to be engaged, interested in food, and willing to further develop within the profession. But your personality is at least as crucial to fit into our small but dynamic team. Therefore, your work ethic and flexibility are absolutely crucial for the role to fit in with us.
