JUNIOR ATTORNEY

VAMO VARUMÄRKESOMBUDET AB has experienced steady growth and we need to strengthen our team with an additional attorney. Today we are a team consisting of five attorneys and are now seeking our next colleague.

The work tasks are varied, which means we work on multiple cases simultaneously during a day. This requires both problem-solving ability and structure. Here we work together with a focus on the client's best interest and maintain high quality and efficiency. Our office is located in central Gothenburg.

Work Tasks

As an attorney, work tasks include client advisory, strategic work, overall responsibility for client portfolios, and assistance in negotiations regarding coexistence, administrative opposition processes, and similar matters. It also involves reporting, documentation, and handling of the firm's various cases, which includes managing communications from authorities and reporting these to the firm's clients.

We have a good influx of new and returning clients, and as an attorney, you are expected to participate in the firm's continued development. As an attorney, you will also continuously follow up on sales and make sales calls.

You will receive internal training at the beginning of employment, after which you will work independently and take responsibility for your work tasks. To succeed in this position requires great attention to detail, to maintain the high quality that VAMO VARUMÄRKESOMBUDET stands for. This role is excellent for you who want to specialize in this exciting field.

You as an Applicant

For this position, we are looking for you who are a newly graduated attorney and want to work with intellectual property law, primarily with trademarks and designs. Since the position largely involves client contact, we prefer that you have previous experience in customer service or sales and that you are naturally service-oriented. The work also requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English, especially in writing as documentation is done in these languages.

Since we have many ongoing cases simultaneously, which often leads to a high work pace, it is required that you as a person are structured and stable in your work approach. It is advantageous if you have taken advanced courses in intellectual property law.

VAMO VARUMÄRKESOMBUDET is a smaller business law firm specialized in intellectual property law and one of the country's leading agents in trademark registrations. We primarily work with registration of trademarks, but also design protection and other related business areas are part of ongoing operations. The focus is on offering specialized expertise in the intellectual property law field, mainly to our own clients but also as a subcontractor to other firms.
