
Treatment Assistant for Summer Substitute Position

We are looking for you who are a secure adult and want to work with children in their residence.
We are currently seeking staff for summer substitute positions from week 24 to week 35.
Introductory training and side-by-side shadowing will take place during the end of May.
About Us
Creare care - Allégatan consists of a treatment home with 5 places. The operation is located in Kil, about 20 minutes from Karlstad. The organization also includes an additional treatment home in Fagerås as well as outpatient care services.
The target group is girls and boys aged 8-12 years with their own behavioral problems. Placement in the operation occurs according to the Social Services Act or the Care of Young Persons Act.
About the Work
We work milieu-therapeutically based on a behavioral science foundation and use a low-affect and cognitive approach. In the role as a treatment assistant, you should be able to create a secure environment for the children through a structured and meaningful everyday life. You build a stable relationship with the children and seek them out curiously every day to learn more about them. Based on care and implementation plans, you should plan and carry out treatment work together with the placed children individually. We use, among other methods, TMO - Trauma-Informed Care, CBT for children, TEJPING, MI - Motivational Interviewing, and rePULSE. You should document your work with the children in a journal system. The work tasks also include all the practical matters that arise in a home, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ensuring children's hygiene is taken care of, and more, and supervising in everyday chores. You should also be involved in the operation's development and change work, whose goal in itself should strengthen quality and create a good workplace.
We have internal training, supervision, APT, and treatment conferences monthly that staff participate in.
There is a collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna.
About You
You should have post-secondary education as a treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social educator, leisure pedagogue, leisure leader, social worker, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. The work suits you who can and want to work in a group together with your colleagues to create security and structure for the placed children. As a person, you are communicative and attentive. As a person, you are curious and take responsibility for your own part as well as for the children's. You strive to be a clear role model. You have the ability to set clear boundaries and are at the same time flexible in an eventful environment. Due to the nature of the work, good empathetic ability is needed, and that you are solution-focused. You need to be genuinely interested in learning more about the children and their challenges. You have plenty of patience in a sometimes slow process, as well as in pressured situations. Good treatment towards the children is something we value highly. You are welcome to be proactive, inspiring, and full of ideas. Your role in the operation allows and encourages your own initiatives.
We are looking for you who can express yourself well in speech and writing. The position requires good documentation ability. You should have a good ability to understand and analyze social processes and problems. You should have a work approach characterized by engagement and drive. You should have the ability to take own responsibility and work structured. You should find it easy to handle when conditions and planning change in the work.
The work can be both mentally and physically demanding at times based on the placed children's well-being.
· Driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.
· Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
