Seasonal Cemetery Worker

The employment is seasonal from May to October.

Värnamo Parish has approximately 45 employees and manages four cemeteries. Are you interested in working with green environments? We want to offer our visitors a beautiful place for reflection and grief work, and your work is an important part of achieving that.

Job duties: Care and maintenance of gravesites, plants, green areas, and gravel surfaces, as well as other tasks that may arise.

Qualifications: Gardening education and/or experience from the park or cemetery sector or other background that the employer deems equivalent. Work at a cemetery involves encounters with people in grief and requires that you can meet them in a dignified manner. There are also high demands for service and cooperation. Good physical fitness and endurance are required as heavy tasks occur. The work involves both group and independent work. The work is almost always outdoors, so you should enjoy working outside in all weather conditions.

A Class B driver's license is required, a Class BE license is advantageous.

State salary expectations.

Start date by agreement.
