Family Home Consultant - Prosperum Family Home Care
Description
Experience is required!
Do you want to contribute to developing an operation where the child's best interests are the obvious starting point – and where your competence, experience, and professional drive are given space and value?
Prosperum Family Home Care is an integrated part of the Prosperum group – an expanding operation that previously runs residential care for children and youth aged 13-17 years. As we broaden our mission to more purposefully meet children's individual needs, we have established a family home operation with several framework agreements. We are therefore seeking a key person who wants to join us and contribute to shaping a qualitative and sustainable operation.
We are looking for you who are an experienced and engaged family home consultant with both deep professional competence and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children and youth. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on a leading role with strategic influence over the operation's continued development and culture-building.
About the Operation
Prosperum Family Home Care works to ensure that every child and youth is given the conditions for a safe, stable, and loving upbringing environment. Our model is based on carefully investigated and precisely matched family homes, where each intervention is characterized by quality, long-term perspective, and professional engagement.
The operation is still in a development and building phase, which creates opportunities for you who do not only want to manage – but actively shape an operation with the child's rights at the center and the courage to think innovatively when required.
We currently have offices in both Falun and Borlänge, which means the work is highly flexible, and there is also the possibility to perform the work remotely. At the same time, our geographic operation is based on recruiting, investigating, and following up family homes in central Sweden.
Job Duties
As a family home consultant, you are responsible for ensuring quality in the entire placement process, from recruitment and investigation of family homes to supervision, follow-up, and documentation. The assignment includes:
- Recruiting and investigating potential family homes according to applicable legislation and professional practice
- Providing continuous support and supervision to the family homes in their mission
- Ensuring follow-up and quality in the placements, with the child's needs and rights in focus
- Documenting and reporting according to applicable regulations and quality requirements
The work is conducted independently but in close collaboration with the operation management and other employees. The position involves travel – a B driver's license is therefore required.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have a degree in social work, or other relevant higher education in social or behavioral sciences
- Have documented experience in investigation work and supervision within family home care
- Have many years of experience in social work with children and youth
- Are confident in conversation leadership, assessments, and written documentation
- Work in a structured manner, are self-sufficient, and have good collaboration skills
- Have a genuine commitment to children's right to safe upbringing conditions and want to contribute to development – both at the individual and operational level
We Offer
- Company car, phone, and laptop to facilitate remote work
- Opportunity to be involved in an early stage and influence the operation's design and direction
- Short decision paths and great scope for own initiatives
- A warm, trusting, and professional work environment
- Regular external supervision and opportunity for continuous competence development
- Competitive employment conditions including collective agreement
- For the right person: opportunity to develop into a leading function with strategic responsibility
Information about the Recruitment Process:
In accordance with the Social Welfare Committee's decision, an extract from the Police Authority's criminal and suspicion register is required.
Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application date.
Prior to the recruitment work, we have decided on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore kindly but firmly decline contact from media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
Warmly welcome with your application!
