Our school is a community of professionals, and whether you are new to the profession or an experienced educator, you will have the opportunity to develop with us.We are now seeking a licensed textile craft teacher for grades 7-9.About the positionAs a textile craft teacher at IES Kista, you will: - Teach textile craft to students in grades 7–9 in accordance with the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22). - Be knowledgeable and passionate about your subject and inspire students in their creative endeavors. - Be a leader in the classroom with tools to create a calm and safe learning environment. - Plan, conduct, and assess engaging and well-structured lessons. - Adapt and differentiate your teaching to meet students' diverse needs and levels. - Collaborate with colleagues in the aesthetic subject team and other work teams. - Contribute to the school's positive and international atmosphere. - As a mentor for 16 students, support them in reaching their full potential, regardless of background.Qualifications - Teaching degree and license in craft with a focus on textiles for grades 7–9. - Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish. - Experience teaching in an international or bilingual environment is advantageous. - A structured, engaged, and professional approach to teaching and teamwork.ApplicationTo apply, submit your CV, cover letter, and a valid extract from the criminal records register for work in schools.
