1st Class Repairer for Finnlines Ferries in Malmö

We are seeking 1st class repairers for our vessels in Malmö. The positions are temporary with likely extensions. We are recruiting both for the spring and summer vacancies.

You are the one who fixes and solves problems and enjoys working with your hands. You have welding and lathe training.

You will receive a schedule for the period you are to work, and we typically work for two weeks, then have two weeks off.

Qualifications

You have

• Basic Safety certificate
• Medical certificate for seafarers.
• Engine Room Rating is an advantage
• Crowd Management.
• Basic Maritime Security

You should have served on board Ro-Ro or Ro-Pax vessels previously and have experience with both engine works, but also within the interior of the catering department.

You have knowledge of a vessel's engine room and the tasks that arise. You are a mechanic who is a problem solver and enjoys working in a team.

You are easy to collaborate and communicate with, and you are thorough as well as attentive.
