We want to give the guest a much greater experience than just the meal itself, so we are looking for you who have a passion for service, show genuine care for guests and colleagues, have a great interest in food & drink, and enjoy working meticulously and organized - even under stress.

You have previous experience as a sous chef, or are currently working as a cook and feel ready for new challenges. With confidence in your professional role, you find it easy to plan, train, and supervise.

You have a good grasp of classic Swedish cooking, but like to give the plate an innovative twist.

The habit of high tempo, and the capacity to deliver large volumes, comes from your personal drive and engagement. High on the priority list is your ambition to create a pleasant work environment, and work with color, form, taste, consistency.

Fiskhuset in Torekov consists of a smokehouse, delicatessen shop, and service.

The job is mostly operational, meaning you are involved in planning, training, supervising, and cooking/producing food for the menu's wide range of dishes and products from the sea. In the shop's delicatessen and fish counter, there is a large assortment of fresh fish, shellfish, ready-made dishes, delicacies, smoked products, pickles, and accompaniments that must be produced daily.

The tasks also include creating and maintaining efficient work routines, quality-assuring products and dishes, and self-monitoring work.

As Sous Chef, you are a key player at Fiskhuset, and you participate in making decisions, presenting new ideas, and planning the season's operations.

At Fiskhuset, collaboration is essential, so we often work across boundaries, are flexible, supportive, and work closely with other departments.

We believe you are an open and *very* social person, who finds it easy to talk and is easy to talk to, since we have an open kitchen with a food bar.

We develop and work together all the time to make it easy for guests and employees to succeed.

Fiskhuset is open from Easter until the end of September, and we hire continuously based on the season's needs. Your working hours vary depending on the season.
