Summer Substitutes for Youth Residence in Växjö

DenBro Care is seeking summer substitutes for our youth residences in Växjö

Our residences are aimed at young people with autism diagnoses and additional diagnoses. The young people living with us are between 16-20 years old and require a lot of support and care. Together, we create a safe, meaningful, and developmental everyday life. Daily and household chores are included.

Denbro Care AB is a company in the care sector that since 2010 has operated residences according to LSS 9:8 for young people with various disabilities, primarily neurodevelopmental disorders. We aim to create conditions for further studies or work, independent living based on individual needs, and meaningful leisure time.

We are looking for secure, thorough, and responsible employees! Preferably, you have experience and knowledge about neurodevelopmental disorders, social and psychiatric issues, and a genuine interest in working with young people.

We hope that you have a relevant pedagogical or social education or that you have previous experience with the target group and are currently studying a comparable education.

We hope that you are skilled at using your knowledge and sharing it, and you have the ability to create a good atmosphere in your environment.

Together with your colleagues, you are solution-focused, attentive, and involved in joint decisions. You communicate well in speech and writing, and we require that you have knowledge about social documentation.

You should have knowledge about KASAM and low-affect approach, but also be eager to learn more, as this is the perspective and method we work according to.

A driver's license is required for all our workplaces.

In our residences, young people live and stay around the clock, so you need to be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call nights. We are primarily seeking summer substitutes who can also be flexible and step in at short notice even before the summer, as temporary substitutes. We will prioritize those who can work the entire summer and start now as a temporary substitute.

At DenBro, we will work together to give the young people who come to us a fun and educational stay. The tasks in the residence may include supporting our young people to find structures for the day, getting to school and activities. You should be a good role model, a secure and warm adult, but you must also be able to be playful and companionable.

Staff should, sometimes together with our young people, prepare meals, and we manage our residence with all the chores found in a home, such as cleaning and laundry.

As staff, you participate in the development work of the operation, you document and have various areas of responsibility that you should perform independently.
